Brolga Downs Guest House is set on Thurn, an 8,000 acre sheep and cattle property in north west NSW, situated 50 kilometres west of Coonamble on the Quambone Road and 24 kilometres north east of Quambone. The property is renowned for its abundant birdlife (including nesting brolgas) and wetlands. Guests may join in normal farm activities such as mustering sheep and cattle and general stock work, or simply relax. Horse riding is available for experienced riders. A tennis court is available and open fires in winter. Shearing takes place in December with lambing and calving in July.
