Formerly the Magill School, the Pepper Street Arts Centre is part of the City of Burnside's cultural program. The Centre offers: Exhibitions held monthly; Gift Shop offering high quality work from South Australian artists and crafts workers; Art Classes in the June Colligan Artist's Studio; The Pepper Club - become a member of Pepper Street Arts Centre and receive a wide range of benefits! Pepper News is available from the Centre and other council venues for bimonthly information about all Pepper Street programs. We have an active group of volunteers who assist in the day to day duties of Pepper Street Arts Centre during open hours. Visit the Adelaide Planetarium and take a guided tour of the universe! Observe a spectacular projection of the Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds, as seen from the southern hemisphere and without interference from weather and unwanted light, onto an eight metre dome. An experienced lecturer guides you through the solar system, and indicates the various planets and stars. The Planetarium seats 45, and can be booked by schools or groups by arrangement. Public sessions are held on the first and third Saturday of each month.
